Steroids used by bodybuilders can make them pre-diabetic

In this study past and present steroid uses had less insulin sensitivity and more resistance, a problem that may lead to diabetes.

Antibiotic ear gel to fight ear infections in the works
Treating otitis media, or inner ear infections, with a one shot squirt of painless gel in the ear is a child and parent’s dream.  This, however, has only been tested in chinchillas, but already so many of us are doing the dance.
One glass alcohol a day is enough to change the heart shape and increase risk of stroke
In this study they found the alchol to change the shape of the left atrium. This would increase risk of atrial fibrillation, which could then increase risk of stroke.
