Seniors may want to wait till later in the season to get their flu shot

Marketing for flu shots begins the end of summer but an immunologist warns seniors should wait till later in the fall as the protective effect may wear off faster and confer enough immunity if given too early before the season.  However, if a delay could prevent a senior from getting his shot, the CDC a deferral may not be ideal.

Internet addiction could signal other mental health issues

This study looked at students who fit the criteria for internet addiction and found may to also suffer from anxiety, impulsiveness and depression.


Women who eat excess of fish oil fatty acids could increase their risk of diabetes

It appears the more omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acides a woman ate, the higher the diabetes risk, especially if she was overweight
