Zika found to affect mice fertility and testicle size

Within two weeks of Zika infection, Sertoli cells in mice were found to have died and their testicles had shrunk.  Since in humans Zika has been found to live and hide in semen, questions are raised on whether human fertility and testosterone production would be affected as well.

Surgical robots may be “impossible” to sterilize completely

In this study they found their cleanings to be 97.6 per cent effective for robotic instruments vs 99.1 per cent effective for ordinary instruments. Multipart robotic tools may have to be redesigned to allow easy disassembly to allow complete sterilization.

Opioid overdoses are increasing in CHILDREN
There’s a variety of reasons for this from teens abusing them to children thinking the pills are candy.  This study found from 1997 – 2012 the rates of children hospitalized for opioid poisoning increased 165 percent
